Fire

We had a fire here a few days ago. These are a little scary when you live out in the country. The wind was blowing around 10mph and would change direction. It started in Norton Canyon which is just over the ridge from where we live in Johnson Canyon. The top of the ridge is probably about a 1/2 mile away.

The fire department got it out with the help of a lot of equipment and helicopters dumping water on it from Soap Lake. It burned about 220 acres of grassland and sagebrush. I took this with my cell phone so the quality isn't the best but it gives you an idea. --Roger==
